Believe...

Today, I created a rustic Christmas card for the August Release by JustRite Papercraft. I usually create very feminine cards, and enjoyed going out of my comfort zone! I used one of the newest Christmas background stamps by Amy Tedder called "Christmas Holly Stripes". I paired it with Spellbinders® Paper Arts Branching Out and 5x7 Matting Basics A. Supplies are listed below and don't forget to hop over to the other design team members and see their delightful projects!

Noel...

Today I went with non-traditional colors for Christmas on my card for the August Release by JustRite Papercraft. The design team is showcasing the gorgeous new die templates from Amazing Paper Grace Becca Feeken called Filigree Corners. These intricate corner dies can be used for so many things and wait until you see what the team has created!! They are also using Becca's new stamp set, "Looking for a Sign".

This was a simple layering of elements with the filigree dies in the upper right and lower left corners, then the sentiment is stamped on Spellbinders® Paper Arts Opulent Ovals and framed with Butterfly Corner. I added a pretty silk ribbon bow, pearls and a tiny rose to finish it off!

Birthday wishes...

Today is Day Two of the August Release for JustRite Papercraft, and the design team is showing gorgeous creations using Samantha Walker's newest stamp set Dainty Doilies that coordinate with her new die templates: Spellbinders® Paper Arts Delicate Doilies!

To create my butterfly, I used the large border doily and cut/embossed it, and then stamped the pretty image on it with Paris Dusk ink. Next, I stamped the inside with a smaller medallion image with Tuxedo Black, then snipped a few pieces from it to get my butterfly. I added a lot of pearls, and shaded the edges with Grape Jelly ink. I used one of the smaller inset pieces for the three medallions on the left, then I embossed with the Dainty Dots Side A M-Bossabilities folder. My sentiment is from Grand Sentiments and is adhered to the smallest die from Exquisite Labels Eleven.

So Happy to be...

This week starts the August Release for JustRite Papercraft and we are showcasing a gorgeous, versatile new die set by Amazing Paper Grace Becca Feeken called Lacey Tiers. I am loving this as a frame, a medallion and there are so many ideas swirling in my head for it! You'll see me using this one a lot, I think!

For my pretty card, I used the circle portion of the die to create a mask. I cut 2 of the circles, cut them in half, then laid them on top of my white cardstock, and used Faber-Castell Gelatos with my baby wipe technique on it. Once it was dry, I adhered the frame to the center, stamped my sentiment, then added my embellishments. Supplies used are noted below!

Journey...

Every once in a while, I find myself having the urge to go back to where I began with stamping. Scenic stamping is a passion that I have not done in a while, but it still lingers in my creative soul. I love getting my fingers inky with delicious color and finding stamp sets that perfectly fit a scene. Inspired by Theresa Momber's "Wild About You" from GinaK Designs, I created this colorful scenic card for you to enjoy! I also used some of the newest dies released at CHA from Spellbinders: Fanciful Lattice and Gold Sentiments. My inks of choice for scenic stamping is the fabulous Memento inks from Tsukineko/Imagine Crafts. You can find the supply list below!

Merry Christmas...

I just love creating Christmas cards, and really enjoy using non-traditional colors for them. I used soft colors of pink, green and white for my card and a lot of Spellbinders die templates including the new 2013 Heirloom Ornament. All supplies are listed below!

How about a contest? I will give this card to one lucky reader and all you have to do is leave a comment below! I will be mailing this card to the lucky winner so make sure you leave your email in the comments section or privately send your email address to me! I will choose one winner randomly on Monday, July 22nd at midnight.

I created my pretty poinsettia with Spellbinders Layered Poinsettia using a lovely vellum from The Stamp Simply Ribbon Store. She has three weights of vellum in the store that will work for any projects, #24 Clear, #24 Iridescent, #29 Clear, #29 Marble White, and #40 Vellum! In the next few weeks, I'll be making more projects using vellum and you'll love it! I cut/embossed my poinsettias with the vellum, then colored them while they were still in the die with Faber-Castell Big Brush pen in Red. I used a baby wipe on the inked vellum to soften the pen strokes and lightly tint the rest of the vellum pink. I repeated the process for the leaves using a green Big Brush pen.

JustRite Papercraft July Release - Day Two

Today I am very excited to introduce JustRite Papercrafts newest Christmas Ornament stamps. This year they focused on matching the largest ornament die elements in the Spellbinders® Heirloom Ornament Die Series.  I can't wait for you to see what the design team created with today's set.

I created my ornament by stamping the large circle ornament with Versamark and embossing with white powder. I stenciled Memento Paris Dusk ink with a sponge dauber over the image, then scored the ornament down the middle. I cut/embossed 8 of these, then adhered them together as shown. I added a pretty silk ribbon bow at the top and pearl swirls for some extra bling!
